magyar nyelvű, a galvanizmust átfogóan ismertető mű. Tomcsányi ádám Domin József utóda volt a pesti egyetem fizika tanszékén. 1800-1831-ig

„Dissertatio de theoria phaenomenorum electricitatis Galvanianae“(Budae 1800, 8°.)
He comes from a noble family, whether the Tomcsányi Tomcsinyi, which Iván Nagy in his Hungarian aristocratic works: "Magyarország családai czimerekkel és nemzékrendi táblákkal" Vol. XI, pp. 238-248 leads, I can not specify, at least he comes neither on the Table of this article, even in the genealogical presentation there before. Adam studied mathematics and physics after completing high school at the Pesther University, was at the same time first repetition of philosophy and 1791 Adjunct from the subjects of physics and mechanics. After he had obtained the philosophical doctorate, he came to Warasdin as a professor of physics, economics and natural history, as such in 1798 to Preßburg and 1801 to the University in Pesth, where he died at the age of 76 years [81]. In the printing of his following writings have appeared: "Dissertation of theoria phaenomenorum electricitatis Galvanianae" (Budae 1800, 8 °.); - "Dissertatio de terrae motu in genere ac specie Moorensi anno 1850 XIV. Junii orto" (Budae 1814, 8 °.), Shared with Paul Kitaibel [Vol. XI, p. 337]; - "Institutiones Physicae, quas compendio dedit, Partes tres" (Pestini 1819-1821, editio altera ibid., 1823-1824, 8 °, first edition with eilf, second edition with thirteen plates); in the first volume he deals with the general, in the second with special physics, in the third with astronomy, physical geography, and meteorology. This textbook was praised at the time as a particularly excellent and recommended even in German sheets.

évi móri földrengésről Kitaibel Pállal együtt írt tanulmánya nemzetközi viszonylatban is úttörő munka. – F. m. Tomcsányi family. (Tomcsínyi)
The county of Turócz, a former old-growth root family, and Tomcsin, which he named *, is now in possession: here is the name of a family member of the family Vilmos Tomcsányi, 1833-1848. in the middle of the year Turócz County was promoted by degrees of promotion for a long time, whose son Móricz was a forensic councilor and landlord boss of Turócz County in 1861, until his resignation.
Some branches of the family were broken into other counties, in 1684 in Dubnicza in Trencsin county, in 1688 a turn of the Tomcsányi family was established in Turna. In 1748, Gyorgy was found in Zolna, and in 1768 there was János and his son János and Szedlicsna was Pál and his sons Joseph and Paul, in 1803 Ignácz and Ágoston, József Szedlicsnán and his son Karoly and his grandchild Lajos lived in Nemes-Kotessó. Finally in 1837 Károly Szedlicsnán and his son Lajos.

In the county of Turócz in the XVII. György Tomcsányi lived in the second half of the 19th century, his son was András, his son was Samuel, who moved to Békés county, where his nobility was proclaimed in 1736. In 1735 he was a great participant in the repression of the Péró rebellion, and in 1736 Békés County received a letter of appreciation. * At that time it was also a forensic notary of the Gyula Literature, as evidenced by a document on the transfer of the diplomas. It seems that after this time he moved his apartment to Pest or Pest because he had been proclaimed his noble certificate from Turócz County in 1740 in Pest county in 1742, when he was now the Pest county's chief banker and his nephew. From 1767 to 1772 he was the director of Gyula's Uralogy. * He died in 1777, he was buried in Gyula. in a chapel called trinity, where the memory of red marble can be read, called "castri gyulensis rector". *

His son remained:
At Kristóf Békes County he had been called up for a long time over the age of 40 and was late in his life. His nobility was proclaimed in Békés county in 1793 by his noble certificate, issued in Pécs county in 1792, and again in 1815 his sons Mihály, József and Károly were their names. * She died in peace on February 18, 2 in the age of 78 years. The embroidery of the family in the blue courtyard of the blood on a green square with a Hungarian cavalry knight with his right hand, sword with his left hand holding the bell; above it a golden star, and from the left silver halo shines. Over the paizs there is a crescent with its horns, and a star above it shines. The blood is picked up by debris.
